Oliver Coray

Oliver has been a life-long resident of Silver Salmon Creek. A master of bush living, he can do a little bit of everything and is a boat captain, pilot, fisherman, photographer, carpenter, and mechanic when needed. He took over Alaska Homestead Lodge in 2022. He looks forward to spending the next 40 years, sharing Lake Clark National Park with his wife Randi and daughter Sailor.

Dorien Coray

Dorien has been coming to Silver Salmon Creek since infancy and worked here as a baker in her teens and early twenties. She recently returned after a long stint overseas being a research scientist working with bacteria and their genes. Let her know if you want to book a trip, identify a local plant, ferment something, or make fish leather.

Adam Rector

Adam first started practicing wildlife photography when he was a teenager living in east Tennessee. His love of wildlife led him to Alaska where he now lives year-round in Homer. He loves having the chance to help people from all over the world get amazing photos while observing wildlife responsibly.

Kia Snyder

Kia’s career as a chef began in Florida, and has evolved into a passion for nature, adventure, and culinary perfection. She makes it a point to incorporate the outdoors into every aspect of her life. In her free time you can find her hiking, photographing wildlife, exploring new places, or creating magic in her kitchen.

Brooke Bartleson

Brooke is a year-round wildlife guide and pro photographer. In the off season she leads expeditions from the Arctic to the Himalayas, but always finds her way back to Homestead Lodge for the Bear Season- her all-time favorite time of the year!

Claire Pikor

When Claire began her career as a Big 4 Accountant, she never guessed it would lead her to a life of adventure in the Alaskan bush. Once she found her place at Homestead Lodge, she fell in love with baking and hospitality almost as much as she loves bears, gardening, backcountry snowboarding and wild adventure.
